A Shared Focus on Industrial AI
Innowave Tech CEO Xu Jinsong joined Siemens and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) for a discussion on ASEAN’s manufacturing future at Hannover Messe on April 20, 2026. The session at Siemens Open Stage brought together Xu, Siemens executive Isabel Chong and EDB executive vice-president Cindy Koh.
Innowave Tech’s announcement centered on the role of smart ecosystems: connecting manufacturing knowledge, technology providers and institutions to support the next stage of industrial development. The panel offered a setting for the company to contribute a manufacturing AI perspective alongside Siemens and EDB.
From Awareness to Implementation
The Business Times’ April 21 report identified execution as a central challenge in scaling AI adoption. Chong highlighted the need to demonstrate returns for manufacturers operating on tight margins, alongside the difficulty of integrating new technology into factories with older equipment and different systems.
The discussion also addressed the wider conditions that support adoption. These included environments where companies can evaluate industrial technologies, sustained workforce development and cooperation between manufacturers, technology providers and public institutions.
For Innowave Tech, participation connected its industrial AI work with a broader conversation about bringing innovation into manufacturing operations. The emphasis was on practical adoption and collaboration across the ecosystem.
