We discussed the role of smart ecosystems: connecting manufacturing knowledge, technology providers and institutions to support industrial development. The panel brought our manufacturing AI perspective into conversation with Siemens and EDB.
From Awareness to Implementation
The Business Times’ April 21 report identified execution as a central challenge in scaling AI adoption. Isabel highlighted the need to demonstrate returns for manufacturers operating on tight margins, alongside the difficulty of integrating new technology into factories with older equipment and different systems.
The discussion also addressed the wider conditions that support adoption. These included environments where companies can evaluate industrial technologies, sustained workforce development and cooperation between manufacturers, technology providers and public institutions.
