Product Value Comes First
What does it mean to build an AI company when the technology shapes both the product and the organization behind it? CEO Xu Jinsong explored that question through three takeaways from Innovate & Scale: The AI Founders’ Roundtable on Global Expansion, where he joined a discussion with Google Cloud’s Karthik Narain about the next era of AI.
In his Jan 24, 2026 account, CEO Xu Jinsong’s first priority was to embed AI into products as a core part of their value. That places the emphasis on what a product enables its customer to do. The relevant question for a product team is how AI contributes to that value, and where it belongs in the experience or work the product supports.
The Company’s Own Work Is Part of the Picture
His second takeaway concerned how the company itself operates: using AI to build products and run the business, from development through operations. This broadens the discussion beyond the features offered to customers. It asks how the organization producing those features can also make purposeful use of the technology.
Taken together, the first two points suggest two related areas of attention. One is the customer’s use of the product; the other is the company’s own work of developing and supporting it. For a founder, considering both prompts a useful comparison: where does AI create value for customers, and where could it make the organization better at delivering that value?
Growth Depends on Relationships
The third takeaway was the importance of partners and strong ecosystems. CEO Xu Jinsong connected this to Innowave Tech’s work embedding agentic AI in industrial products and pursuing global growth through trusted partnerships. The roundtable’s focus on international expansion gives that point particular relevance: a company’s product and internal capabilities sit alongside the relationships through which it seeks to grow.
The three priorities form a connected agenda for an AI business. Create value through the product, consider how AI can improve the work of building and running the company, and develop the partnerships that support its ambitions. For Innowave Tech, the reflection ties those choices to its industrial focus and international direction, while leaving the practical work of delivering on them as the measure that matters.
