The Work around the Technology
At the Innowave Tech Forum 2026, we brought customers, industry leaders, speakers and partners together to discuss what industrial AI needs to scale. Trusted technology, high-quality data, domain expertise and strong partnerships were central to the discussion.
AI systems need to fit the production processes and organizational capabilities around them. We discussed the connections between technology, factory knowledge and data that make this possible, with a focus on sustained use in industrial operations.
We identified manufacturers, technology providers, system integrators, research institutions, government and industry partners as participants in that effort. Each brings a different part of what is required to move from an isolated pilot toward repeatable deployment.
People and Outcomes Remain Central
Our goal is to help manufacturers improve yield, reduce downtime and make engineering decisions with AI support. Human-in-the-loop decision-making remained central to the discussion.
We acknowledged IMDA, the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association, Siemens Digital Industries Software and Intel among the organizations supporting the forum. We also thanked Nils Michaelis, Ricky Watts, Ang Wee Seng, Isabel Chong, Licheng Yan and Wei Liang Lee for their contributions.
Presentations, discussions and conversations between participants made those connections tangible. The forum reinforced our view that coordinated work across the ecosystem is essential to scaling industrial AI.
