From AI Discussion to Manufacturing Value
We joined AI Horizon 2026 in Penang to contribute our perspective on practical AI adoption in manufacturing. Meredy Mun represented Innowave Tech in the panel discussion “Beyond the AI Hype: Real Manufacturing Success Stories” on 7 October, during the two-day event at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre.
The panel brought together practitioners from Innowave Tech, AMD Malaysia, YGL Convergence and the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute, with Teresa Toh of CREST moderating the discussion. It provided an opportunity to exchange experience across the manufacturing ecosystem and explore how AI can translate into operational value.
For us, meaningful AI adoption starts with the challenges manufacturers need to solve. Improving manufacturing performance and delivering measurable business outcomes remain central to our approach. The discussion was an opportunity to contribute to the wider conversation about accelerating AI adoption across Malaysia’s manufacturing sector.
We thank Tech Dome Penang and the AI Horizon organising team for bringing industry practitioners together. Sharing implementation experience helps businesses learn from one another as they consider where AI can make a practical difference.
