Innowave Tech Establishes a Dresden Base to Serve European Customers

A German incorporation and a base in Dresden turn more than two years of customer and partner engagement into a lasting local commitment.

A First Conversation, Then a Longer Commitment

Innowave Tech has incorporated in Germany, establishing Dresden as its base for supporting customers and partners across Germany and the wider European Union. Announced in June 2026, the milestone turns more than two years of engagement with the region’s semiconductor industry into a local commitment.

The journey began in March 2024, when Head of Solutions Mike Feng arrived in Dresden for the company’s first direct conversation with a major semiconductor manufacturer there. The reception was encouraging and the interest real. Yet the opening meeting did not immediately become the foothold the company was looking for. It began a longer period of returning, listening and building relationships.

Subsequent visits took Innowave Tech into conversations with foundries, mask makers, wafer companies, equipment manufacturers and technology partners. Electronica, SEMICON Europa and HANNOVER MESSE were among the occasions that brought the company into contact with this wider network. The work of entering the market extended across different parts of the semiconductor ecosystem.

From Visiting a Market to Establishing a Base

A conclusion emerged from those discussions. In Head of Solutions Mike Feng’s account, demand for industrial agentic AI was evident, but trust could not be built entirely from a distance. Serving the market required a commitment that went beyond periodic visits. German incorporation, with Dresden as the base, gave that intention a concrete form.

By the June announcement, Head of Solutions Mike Feng reported that Innowave Tech was already serving clients in Germany and elsewhere in the EU. The new base therefore followed customer activity and sustained engagement. It creates a local point from which the company can continue its work with the customers and partners involved.

The distinction between interest and commitment is the central lesson of this account. An encouraging first meeting can establish a reason to continue talking; repeated engagement helps a company understand whether and how it can serve a market. In Innowave Tech’s case, that process led to the decision to establish a presence in Dresden.

A Milestone Built through Relationships

The company marked the milestone at the 20th Silicon Saxony Days in 2026. During the visit, Head of Solutions Mike Feng met Michael Kretschmer and acknowledged the encouragement received for companies contributing to Saxony’s semiconductor ecosystem. By then, it was Head of Solutions Mike Feng’s sixth visit to Dresden and ninth to Germany, reflecting the sustained attention behind the announcement.

Head of Solutions Mike Feng also credited Enterprise Singapore, Silicon Saxony, Start2 Group and individual industry partners for helping the company reach this stage. Their inclusion in the account underlines how much of the journey depended on relationships across the ecosystem.

Dresden is the starting point for the next phase of that work. The company’s June announcement combined an established legal presence, active customer relationships and a base for serving the wider region. The task ahead is to build on the engagement that brought Innowave Tech to Germany in the first place.
